Description:

This town is actually a sanctuary for the black-tailed prairie dog, created in 1935 by two progressive people named Clapp and Edwards, who were concerned about the then-endangered rodent. They captured two of the adorable fluffs of fur, and the rest is procreation history. Today, we can watch these energetic little creatures frolic on this vast expanse of reddish brown land - their natural habitat.
