Selena Memorial Statue

Selena Quintanilla-Perez, nicknamed "La Flor," was on her way to international stardom when she was murdered by her fan club manager in 1995 at the age of 23. Her bronze memorial sculpture stands in the city where she died. It was dedicated in 1997. The ground around the statue features mosaic tiles of white roses, Selena's favorite flower.
