Terlingua Ghost Town

Terlingua Ghost Town was once the site of a cinnabar mine - from which mercury was extracted. When mercury was no longer in demand, the miners just picked up and left, but the legacy is this dusty little locale frozen in time. If your throat gets a little dry, you can grab a drink in the still-operational saloon. Be warned - if you get a little rowdy with the sauce, you may end up in the town jail - because that's where the loo is!
