The Devil's Sinkhole

Home to the Mexican free-tail bat, this natural landmark is accessible to only those who have made reservations in advance. The vertical cavern may very well be the largest in Texas. Over 3 million bats reside here and a cloud of these flying rodents can be seen against the backdrop of an evening sky from spring to fall as they ascend for their nightly hunt.
