Description:

The LaSalle Hotel in Bryan, Texas opened in 1928 as a seven-story landmark and was the tallest building in the city, built to serve travelers from the nearby railroad and anchored downtown’s commercial district. Over the decades it housed guest rooms, a ballroom and shops, later became a nursing home and apartment building, and sat vacant for many years before a restoration effort led to its reopening as a boutique hotel in 2000 and its listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, after further renovations and inclusion in the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, the historic LaSalle continues to blend its original charm with modern amenities in the heart of downtown Bryan.
