Description:

Many couldn't imagine that majestic horses would be slaughtered due to a high demand for their meat. However, this is where countless horses, mules, and burros pass by on their journey to a slaughterhouse. Statues, saddles, and bridles were donated to the memorial which was put together by a grassroots organization led by Natives. For more information on the nonprofit visit thunderinghooves.com.
