Wyler Aerial Tramway

These air gondolas glide over the Franklin Mountains. If you have no qualms about being suspended in a small car attached to a 3/8" steel cable almost 1,000 feet above the ground, then you will most certainly have four minutes of exhilarating fun. While there's no entrance fee to the park, the tram tour does cost a mere eight dollars. Sometimes the tram is closed, so call ahead to make sure it is operational on the day you plan to visit.
