Apache Motel

John Wayne and other Western-era celebrities often stayed at the Apache Motel while filming near Moab. Built during a significant period of dramatic change in Southern Utah, the motel became a hub for new travelers and innovative ideas brought by popular films. From travelers to movie stars, everyone fell in love with Moab and its enchanting landscapes.
