Beehive Charcoal Kiln Ruins

These kilns, located in Death Valley National Park, were constructed in 1877, as part of the operations of the nearby Modock Mines. Modock Consolidated Mining Company used them only for a couple of years, which is why they are in good condition 140 years later.
