Bridal Veil Falls, UT

In famous Provo Canyon this 2-drop waterfall courses down a steep cliff. An aerial tram and tourist train had been built, but are no longer in use. The structures had also been destroyed in an avalanche in 1996 and an arson fire claimed anything else that had been left behind. Still, the natural surroundings and the 607-foot waterfall attract plenty of visitors, even though there has been, on average, one death per year due to the slippery rocks. To get there from the I-15 go north on Provo Canyon Rd. and then drive for about 10 miles. You'll turn onto Old Provo Canyon Rd. which will take you directly to the parking area. There is no cost to park or visit the falls. (Submitted by Anna Siruelo)

Beautiful hike to an amazing spot! I waited out a storm under a rock overhang once. Magical. šŸ¤©
