Hobbitville

Saves: 21
Check-ins: 11
Officially known as Allen Park, Hobbitville is like stepping into Middle Earth. Dr. George Allen and Ruth Allen bought the property in 1931 turning it into a wonderland for their exotic birds. The name comes from the small log cabins in the park seemingly inhabited by the small fictional creatures. It is now administered by Salt Lake City's Public Lands Division. The park is open during daylight hours daily; entry is free. To get there take I-80 to 1300 E. and go north. Allen Park will be on your righthand side about 3/4 of a mile up.
