Hole N' The Rock

Hole n' the Rock is a tiny town inside a huge cliffside, built to also be a home to Albert and Gladys Christensen in the 1940s. They had operated a diner inside the rock, until Albert's untimely death in the '50s. His wife, Gladys, kept the rock alive, by turning it into a curious sightseeing tour. Now, it is owned by the Hansens, who have pledged to preserve the rock interior as-is. This is definitely a place worth taking a detour for. (Photo by Nicole Adams)
