Hurricane Valley Heritage Park

The museum is small and quaint, but interesting. However, the real attraction of this location may be the park. It's perfect for the kids, and you can even pack a picnic basket. The museum displays artifacts from the pioneering days, when the canal was built in the area. Also featured here is possibly the world's oldest piece of bacon - found in a cellar, and deemed to be from the 1940s.
