Description:

John's Canyon Spring is a beautiful natural spring located near the town of Mexican Hat, UT. It's named after John Wetherill, a well-known explorer and trader who lived in the area in the late 1800s. The spring itself is a small pool of crystal-clear water fed by an underground source. The water is cool, refreshing, and said to have healing properties. Visitors can access John's Canyon Spring by hiking, biking, or driving a 14-mile trail that begins near Gooseneck State Park. However, the trail requires a high clearance vehicle.
