Description:

St. George, Utah's Historic District is home to the oldest ongoing establishment in the area, Thomas Judd's General Store Co. Established in 1911 by pioneer Thomas Judd, the store has a rich history dating back to its origin as a home built in 1876. Originally catering to local farmers and ranchers with essentials like dry goods and groceries, the store has retained its nostalgic charm. Threatened with demolition in 1982, it was saved by Dr. Mark and Barbara Greene, leading to the "Green Gate Village" project. Today, the store preserves its original features, offering retro sodas, old-school candies, and a 1946 gas pump, providing a timeless experience for St. George residents and visitors.
