Description:

Numbering 67, these monoliths rise up from the ground, an ethereal display stretching across a rocky Utah landscape. They were most likely formed from geysers which created layers of the sandstone eventually plugging the holes. The surrounding areas eroded over time thus making the striking scene you see today. The trails getting there are easy enough to be ADA accessible and camping is permitted within the Kodachrome Basin State Park.
