Newspaper Rock

This registered state monument has one of the most unearthly features in Utah - a 200-square-foot panel of rock with 2,000-year-old petroglyphs. You can visit this ancient "newspaper" year round, 24 hours a day. Although the petroglyphs haven't been deciphered, they are generally thought to be recordings of long-past current events or ancient graffiti.
