Description:
The Porter Rockwell Cabin is a historic building located in Eureka, UT. It's named after its former owner, Orrin Porter Rockwell, who was a legendary figure in Utah history and a close associate of Mormon prophet Joseph Smith. The cabin was originally built in the mid-1850s and was initially located in Salt Lake City. Rockwell lived in the cabin for several years before he sold it to a man named William Marsden, who then relocated the cabin to Eureka in the late 1860s.
