Thelma & Louise Point

The Grand Canyon in the movie "Thelma and Louise" was not actually the Grand Canyon; yet it was still a grand location in Moab, UT. Even without the label of "movie filming location," this specific site is all gorgeous rock formations - making you feel as if you've landed on Mars. If you feel brave, take the car to edge of the cliff, but after you've taken in your scenic fill, back up, turn around, and drive home (or to the motel).
