Description:
The Tintic Railroad Tunnel, also referred to as the Elbert Slant Railroad Tunnel, is a unique spot to explore in Elberta, UT. This abandoned railroad tunnel spans approximately 235 feet and is accessible to most passenger vehicles. Although the road leading to the tunnel can be a little bumpy, it's still passable by some low-clearance vehicles such as minivans and small sedans. However, it's recommended to have high clearance for the journey. The road can be muddy during wet weather, so plan a visit only when the roads are dry.
