Utah State Capitol Building

Saves: 17

After an extensive renovation project lasting from 2004 to 2008 this capitol building is once again one of the most beautiful examples of architecture in the state. It was designed by Richard Kletting and completed in 1916 and has been the seat of Utah's government ever since. The interior is gorgeous as well with impressive paintings and sculptures held in a gallery overlooking the rotunda. Open Monday through Friday from 8 to 5, but call 801-538-1800 for current information. (Submitted by Arjan Timmermans)
