Description:

Wolfe Ranch is a historic homestead established in the late 19th century by John Wesley Wolfe, a Civil War veteran who came to the area in search of gold. Wolfe built the cabin using local sandstone and lived there with his son, Fred, who helped him with the ranching and mining activities. Over the years the Wolfes expanded the cabin and built additional structures such as a root cellar and a corral.
