Description:
It's clear these petroglyphs are very old, but no one is sure just how old they are or what the meaning of the pictures is. It is known, however, that they were probably created by people who first settled here 7,000 years ago. One of the less crowded historical sites in Zion National Park, this petroglyph panel can be hard to find even though it is located right off the highway. There is a small turnoff with a wooden fence; park here and then walk the rest of the way to the canyon.
