Description:

The Paper Mill Village Covered Bridge in Bennington, Vermont was built in 1889 by Charles F. Sears and spans the Walloomsac River with a Town lattice truss design. At 125 feet long, it is the longest covered bridge in Bennington County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Restored in 2000, the bridge sits beside a former paper mill, its red siding and white trim reflecting on the mill pond and making it a picturesque landmark near Bennington College.
