This remarkable steamer sits grounded on a grassy meadow at Shelburne Museum. The ship was built in 1906 in Shelburne and served as a day-vessel carrying passengers on Lake Champlain back and forth from New York to Vermont. Now in retirement on the grounds of this elegant museum, visitors can see how affluent people spent their leisure time on "Ticonderoga."
