Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice" Town

Tim Burton's darkly comedic "Beetlejuice" is more striking because it takes place in a serenely bucolic New England town. Although the storyline is set in Connecticut the actual filming took place in the Vermont countryside where real buildings were used as part of the backdrop. The bridge is there too (1 Chicken Farm Rd, East Corinth, VT) although a fake red cover was built over the existing bridge for the movie.
