Abandoned Virginia Renaissance Faire

It was a nice idea but, unfortunately, this Renaissance-themed park closed in 1997 after a mere three years. The buildings were left to decay and vandals with graffiti covering the inner walls. Located in a woodsy, secluded area, you could easily pretend you've gone back in time to the time of Shakespeare the Bard but intermittent graffiti defacing the buildings brings you back to the modern day. The abandoned park is on private property where hunters frequent so trespassing may put you in mortal danger.
