Description:
Calfee Park in Pulaski, Virginia, opened in 1935 as a Works Progress Administration project and was named for Mayor Ernest W. Calfee. 🏟️ It has served as home to numerous Appalachian League teams—from the Pulaski Counts to the current River Turtles—and is one of the oldest minor‑league parks in the country, thanks to careful preservation of its original stone entrance and steel‑canopied grandstand.
