Cape Henry Lighthouse

Two lighthouses stand at this point, the red-brick structure built in 1792, and the second, taller structure built in 1881. Even though the older lighthouse was deemed unstable, it remains standing to this day. Both lighthouses are open to the public. They stand very close to the site where English settlers arrived in 1607.
