This living history and open-air museum is probably one of the most famous in the country. Located on a real historical landmark, Williamsburg was established and built in 1699. Functioning somewhat like a theme park, the employees are dressed in colonial-style costumes. However, the employees are also well-versed in history, being historical reenactors who can articulate and demonstrate the daily activities of the townspeople in the 18th century.
