Fredericksburg Battlefield

Even if you're not a Civil War buff you'll still enjoy the green pastures and sun-dappled woods that are part of the site where the Battlefield of Fredericksburg was fought. With pastures and plenty of trails, this is a great spot to learn about history while racking up steps on your Fitbit. During the warmer months, the park offers "Fit-History" hikes - a guided walking tour through the locations in the park that saw the most action.
