Hollywood Cemetery

Hollywood Cemetery has been around since the 19th century and still performs burials. This garden cemetery which overlooks the James River is also considered an outdoor museum. Many historical figures have been laid to rest such as John Tyler (10th president) and James Monroe (5th president whose tomb is pictured here). There is also a lot of interesting folklore surrounding many of the gravesites. It is well worth a visit if you are in the Richmond area especially with plenty of beautiful photo ops.
