Description:

The visitor center is housed in a stone and log building and offers a variety of exhibits and interactive displays that educate visitors about the history, culture, and natural environment of the area. There are also park rangers and volunteers on hand to answer questions and provide information about hiking trails and other outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Outside the visitor center, visitors can explore a reconstructed 19th-century Appalachian farm which includes a cabin, barn, and other structures that give a glimpse into what life was like for early settlers in the region.
