National Firearms Museum

Owned and operated by the NRA, this museum takes a look at weapons and arms used from the days before the Revolution to the present. The collection holds an impressive array of artillery and weapons used for a variety of purposes including war, self-defense, hunting, and sports. Another aspect of the museum is to educate the public on the use of firearms and the liberties with which they have afforded us from the time when the U.S. was an idea just barely conceived.
