Description:
Also known as Paspahegh Town this part of the Jamestown Settlement explores the traditional way of life of the Powhatan tribe. The recreated village was modeled on archaeological findings at a nearby site as well as extensive research of descriptions and illustrations drawn up by English colonists in the 17th century. Part of the exploration includes detailed information about Pocahontas and her father, Chief Powhatan, leader of 30 Algonquian tribes. General admission is $18 per person and hours are 10 to 4:30 every day.
