She might have been called Sarah Constant, but we do know that she was captained by Christopher Newport in 1606-1607 which resulted in the founding of Jamestown. In 1995, she made a big-screen debut in the animated film "Pocahontas." This one is a very accurate replica of the fully rigged ship as the original sailed back to England never to return to Virginia. The ship is a part of the National Park Service thus hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily. Tickets must be purchased with credit cards either online or onsite. See historicjamestown.org for more details.
