Description:
Millions of years ago, Virginia was submerged under a prehistoric ocean with extinct sharks roaming around freely. The evidence they existed is right in the soil and if you look closely enough, you might be able to find a few fossils. If sharks back then were anything like sharks today, those mighty ancestors had thousands of teeth! Don't worry about being scolded by park rangers - fossil hunting is encouraged here!
