Description:

This strategic defense fort was constructed in the 1890s - part of a trio that made up the formidable "Triangle of Fire." Over the decades after it was built, artillery installments such as guns and mortars, two 10-inch guns of disappearing carriages, and 3-inch guns with a 360-degree range of motion. Of course, with airplanes being invented in the early 1900s, the fort was vulnerable to air attacks and soon became a relic. There is a lot to explore in this park located near the a beautiful inlet of the Pacific. Hours are from 8 AM to dusk every day.
