Description:
Horseshoe Cafe in Bellingham, Washington, dates back to the 1880s when it began as a saloon and mercantile serving local loggers, miners, and fishermen. It survived prohibition, moved locations over the years, and settled into its current Holly Street home in 1958, becoming a downtown landmark known for its neon sign and Western themed Ranch Room. The café also inspired the playful “Rowdy Buckaroo” mascot that appears in a mural on the building. Today it is celebrated for hearty American comfort food including chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, classic burgers, French dip sandwiches, and chili dogs.
