International Fountain

Tokyo-based architects Kazuyuki Matsushita and Hideki Shimizu designed it in 1961-1962. Originally constructed for the World's Fair, this fountain was replaced by a newer version in 1995 as part of a $6.5 million project to expand the park and make it family friendly. Now, people can play at in the fountain bowl while the water refreshingly sprays over them. The fountain is open to visitors 24/7.
