Description:

Twenty acres encompasses a unique garden blending Japanese landscaping with Northwestern flora. Nine ponds, two red bridges, 140 varieties of maple, and 30 varieties of hydrangea exist peacefully in harmony. Owned originally by landscaper Fujitaro Kubota, the property was acquired by the city of Seattle in 1987. Hours are normally from sunrise to sundown.
