Description:
Merchant’s Cafe and Saloon in Seattle’s Pioneer Square dates back to 1890 and is considered one of the city’s oldest continuously operating restaurants. It survived Prohibition, maintained much of its original gold rush era character, and built a reputation for ghost stories and historic charm. Today it continues to draw visitors with comfort foods such as classic burgers, salmon sandwiches, and popular sides like fries and onion rings, along with a full bar that keeps the saloon tradition alive.
