The Childhood Express

Radio Flyer is one of those objects that is sharply nostalgic for everyone. In 1990, artist Ken Spiering decided to bring this joy to Riverfront Park but in large scale. This giant red replica of the Radio Flyer wagon is almost functional in every way - except for the fact that it doesn't move. It can hold about 300 people and the handle is a slide, where those 300 people can exit the wagon elevated on 6-foot wheels.
