Description:

Virginia Inn opened in 1903 in downtown Seattle and has long served as a welcoming tavern and neighborhood gathering spot that endured Prohibition and grew into a beloved bistro near Pike Place Market. Over more than a century it has maintained its historic charm while continuing to appear in local culture and film. The restaurant is known for Northwest favorites such as Penn Cove mussels, smoked salmon, salmon and clam chowder, cioppino, fish and chips, and its signature V.I. cheeseburger.
