Volunteer Park Conservatory

This botanical Seattle landmark's distinguishing feature is the Victorian-style greenhouse fitted with 3,426 glass panes. Inspired by the Crystal Palace in London, the conservatory's inviting temperature allows a variety of plants to thrive including succulents, tropical bromeliads, ferns, palms, and seasonals. Several pieces of art such as sculptures, wood, and glass works enhance the beauty of the conservatory. Entrance fees are surprisingly affordable and parking within the grounds is free!
