The World’s Largest Oyster is one of South Bend’s most recognizable roadside attractions, celebrating the town’s long-standing reputation as the “Oyster Capital of the World.” Located in Robert Bush Memorial Park along the waterfront, the giant oyster sculpture pays tribute to the rich oyster-growing industry of nearby Willapa Bay, one of the nation’s most productive shellfish regions. It's a fun photo stop and a quirky reminder of the industry that has helped shape South Bend’s identity for generations.
