The museum is inside an old, boxy building and is about so much more than just oil and gas. It is a history of the Industrial Revolution with artifacts such as a telegraph key, switchboard, and an old hardware store upstairs. It may not be the most polished museum out there but it is an authentic glimpse into West Virginia's past when the state was home to the most millionaires per capita in the U.S.
