Spruce Knob

As the summit of Spruce Mountain and the highest point in West Virginia, Spruce Knob is a must if you take the time to visit the Mountain State. The drive up isn't treacherous and there's a lookout tower to climb if you want a spectacular panoramic view. It's windy, cool, and high-altitude so prepare for the trip accordingly.
