In Walworth, Wisconsin, a towering 45-foot-tall statue known as the "Big Mac Mighty Robot" stands sentinel over the landscape. Constructed from 20 tons of salvaged scrap metal, this imposing figure features an Officer Big Mac head—originally from a McDonald's playground—perched atop a robust body fashioned from an old Pabst Brewery tank. Local residents Robert Stewart, a salvager, and Shane Pope, a welder, collaborated over two years to bring this unique creation to life, completing it in 2021. The robot's left hand clutches a block of "TNT," actually a concrete counterweight ensuring its stability. Visible from over a mile away, the statue has become a notable roadside attraction, drawing the attention of passersby and adding a touch of industrial whimsy to the rural setting.
