Growing Power

With the basic mission of growing food sustainably, this agricultural center was once an abandoned nursery. Turned into a thriving edible garden by CEO Will Allen, its facilities include large greenhouses, a kitchen, training gardens, a food distribution warehouse, beehives, and an area for livestock. Tours are available every day except major holidays and include seeing the worms eating waste, the fish fertilizing plants, and honeybee pollination.
